Book – Thoughts on Interaction Design, 2nd Edition by Jon Kolko

Although I started my translating “career” 12 years ago (I had been translating and writing C/C++ articles and was once well-known for that in the relevant community), and although I had been a well-respected editor who had helped/assisted many translators on translating, I never did “serious” translation work until the year 2011. And the result of that effort is the simplified Chinese translation of Jon Kolko’s great book Thoughts on Interaction Design. It’s among the top 10 best IT books of 2012.

The book had a substantial impact on me and I love Jon Kolko’s arguments in it (I won’t talk about it, you go read it yourself).

If you haven’t read the book (Come on, dude! Who hasn’t? Who hasn’t?), please do yourself a favor by reading it, either in English or in Chinese, again and again.
